Our goal is to leave you feeling inspired and uplifted, with plenty of opportunities to mingle and connect. Come and experience a memorable night celebrating the power of words that are actually spoken.

For those interested in performing during the open mic section, we are inviting pieces that reflect on what authenticity means to you. Whether it is embracing your culture, your faith, your approach to relationships or work—the space is yours. The only rule? Bring positivity and good vibes!🎉

🌟Headliner🌟
Salient Voice - Poet & Author

Salient Voice is a Nigerian born British, published author and spoken word poet.

Salient started her poetry journey at the age of 16 where she performed at Hackney Empire and since then has gone on to perform on many stages to a diverse group of people across the UK including her recent performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

Her pieces take you on a journey and offer relatability. She is known for being able to command the room with her stage presence and ability to use her gifting to connect to her audience.

“Even if only one person in the room is touched, that’s the beginning of greatness for all of us.”✨

💫Event Host💫
Kosi
- Poet & Creator of Actually Series

Kosi uses her poetry as a powerful tool to spread positivity and inspire others on their personal journeys toward realising their fullest potential.

In November 2024, she launched Actually Mine, the first event in the Actually Series. This event was created to empower and uplift women embracing their natural hair journeys.

Following the success of Actually Mine, Kosi expanded the series with Actually Spoken—an open mic event designed to remind people of the transformative power of words actually spoken.

Kosi firmly believes that by embracing our authentic selves, we can share our stories and experiences — helping us learn from one another as we move forward to make positive impact in the world around us.✨
