Afro Dance Xplosion - 2021 - United We Dance!

Afro Dance Xplosion (London) brings together some of the hottest African diaspora dance practitioners to deliver a dynamite weekend of dance classes, workshops plus a showcase. ADX will be a live festival in Central London.

The ADX festival will be from Friday, 29th October 2021 to Sunday, 31st October 2021. This year we are celebrating 11 years of ADX, bringing together artists from Africa, the Caribbean, the USA and the UK to represent the African diaspora in all its glory!

Afro Dance Xplosion has worked with artists from Africa, the Caribbean including Cuba, France, the UK, Brazil and the USA all speaking the same international language of Dance!

Come and celebrate the diversity of dance and music in the African Diaspora in "United We Dance!" Classes/workshops will celebrate the following styles within the African Diaspora: L'Antech, Cuban Rumba, Afro Beats and Traditional African Dance.

ADX - 2021 - Showcase

Location: St Marylebone School, 64 Marylebone High Street, London, England, W1U 5BA, Theatre

Time: 19:30 to 21:30 including an intermission (BST)

This year we have a great live showcase in store for you that will include international and national guests plus some of the best Choreographers/dancers in dance in the African diaspora in the UK. The showcase will be a fabulous show with performances in African dance and also some of the popular techniques grounded in the vocabulary of African movement.

This year we will have invited choreographers and musicians from the African Diaspora that live outside the UK presenting Videos of their work for the Afro Dance Xplosion platform. Plus there will be the usual vibrant live performances from some of the hottest choreographers and dancers in the African Diaspora in the UK.

ADX is celebrating 11 years of showcasing dance and music in the African Diaspora. Come join us for Black History Month (UK) and prepare to be entertained with the best dance within the African Diaspora and beyond in "United we Dance!".
