Axe - Afro Brazilian Rhythms

Our third dance and percussion meeting is coming, (AXÉ AFRO Brazilians RHYTHMS) come and be part of this excitement December 14th.

Where dancers and percussionists train as one! 

AXÉ is a series of workshops for dancers and musicians alike. The idea is to warm up first by learning to play the Samba-Reggae rhythms you are so used to moving to. You then transition to the Afro-Brazilian movement session with the beats deeply instilled in your bodies!

These workshops are intended to be a monthly gathering to celebrate Afro-Brazilian music, dance and culture and experience it as a whole life force with the Samba-Reggae music master, Mac Dendê and Afro-Brazilian dance master, Adriano Oliveira... both part of the winning Brazilian band at Sunday Notting Hill Carnival 2025! 

Please note, this is a single project where all participants take part in both the music and dance sessions. There is no option to sign up to one part of the workshop only.
