Black History / Black Future

On Thursday October 26th, RCRDSHOP and TheAfroClub5 have teamed up with Kindred, to put together a one off live concert and after party in celebration of Black History Month.

Eight specially curated acts will be performing with a full band with horn section and gospel choir delivering reworks of records created by black icons celebrating the past present and future. The result will be a one off concert ranging from soul and hip hop to dance and jazz presented by some of the cities finest talents. 

In addition to this there will be a tasting menu of Canapés and cocktails on arrival and an art installation. After the live show there will be a selection of DJ’s playing themed sets celebrating UK sounds, 50 years of Hip Hop and Afro Beats.

This is a full evening and night of entertainment running from 5pm to 2am in the morning so be sure to bring your listening ears and your dancing shoes.
