Commonwealth Calypso: Caribbean Folk Dance Classes

Welcome to learning, exploring, enjoying Caribbean cultural dance.

No experience necessary just bring your enthusiasm

You will find us in The Jubilee Room at the St Laurence Community Centre, which is attached to St Laurence Church.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing; for Adults Dance Class, women may wish to bring a long wide skirt to wear as movement of skirt to enhance dance steps is part of Class

*Notes -

No audio or visual recording of classes/class participants permitted

No spectators - this is a participatory dance class event.

Childrens class: Parents/carers to remain in Dance Class room whilst class is taking place. No unsupervised children

Footwear: Bare feet or soft flat non-slip dance shoes/plimsolls

No food permitted in Dance Class room. No liquids in floor space where class is taking place
