Fufu medley and afro-cocktail dining experience in Battersea

Calling West-African food lovers to join us in Battersea, London on Saturday 22nd June 2024.

Following the sold-out launch event, and in response to popular demand, the most vibrant West-African Fufu and Afro-cocktail dining experience is back!

What to expect:  showcase of a 3 course set menu and 2 non alcoholic cocktails 

Upon your arrival, indulge yourself in the finest taste of our Zobolicious cocktail: an elixir of the hibiscus flower with a touch of strawberry flavor.

Mix and mingle with guests while enjoying appetisers: 

• Kaklo (banana fritters) served with honey seasoned prawns and avocado mousse 

Fufu pounding workshop: make your own yam and cassava fufu in a traditional mortar to transport you to the heart of Africa. 

Dinner is featuring: 3 styles of fufu (commonly called "swallow") and 2 delectable stews: 

• Yam/cassava, plantain fufu and Djinkoumey (semolina) 
• Seafood egussi and aromatic tomato stew with assorted meat and caramelised onions

To keep the festivity going, savor our renowned Baobab Bliss "The Tree of life" cocktail, to invigorate your sense with a nutritious superfood. 

End the evening on a sweet note with the popular Velvety Dèguè (millet and yogurt pudding) with plantain chips crumbs dusted with cinnamon.
