Haitian Flag Day 2026 is TOMORROW, Sunday 17 May and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!

PLEASE ARRIVE by 2:30pm | Programme begins 3:00pm
The programme opens outdoors at South Norwood Lake at 3:00pm prompt, where we bring to life two extraordinary moments in history:

- the 1791 Bois Caïman Gathering in the woodland, and
- the 1803 birth of the Haitian flag on the lakeside platform.
From 4:00pm, the celebration moves into the Pavilion Hall for live music, poetry, sculpture, Haitian food, and performances from artists joining us from France.
Please aim to arrive by 2:30pm where at all possible. We are welcoming a number of special guests and dignitaries, and starting on time matters both as a mark of respect to them and to each other.
