PENCHMI IN ROUNDWOOD PARK - SAT 9 MAY 26 - PAPA JOHNNY BIRTHDAY

DEMBIS THIOUNG invites you all to PENCHMI IN ROUNDWOOD PARK, NW10: The African Drum + Dance + Chant Portal on a special edition to celebrate the wonderful of Papa Johnny. 

SATURDAY  From 2.30pm until park closes (7.30pm  to 8pm), even though we always continue the gathering at the gate outside the park until a bit later.

PENCHMI VIBES: Papa Johnny introduced us to Roundwood Park over a decade ago and we have been gathering, celebrating all sorts of life under the same oak tree for all these years. We are happy we are here and we are here to share. Join us to celebrate the wonderful life of Papa Johnny. 

A limited number of drums will be provided, participants are encouraged to bring own drum (djembe + dundun + sabar). 

Bring nourishing food + drinks to share. Bring a stool. Family-friendly event. All levels welcomed. Share the news.
