Tais Lima is a yoga teacher and wellness holiday organiser dedicated to creating inclusive, compassionate spaces where people of all backgrounds can connect with their physical and spiritual selves. Rooted in her heritage as the granddaughter of a Brazilian spiritual healer with indigenous lineage, Tais’s approach reflects the rich traditions of Brazil’s indigenous and African diasporas.
Her yoga journey began in Kerala, India, in 2017, where she completed her training, marking a turning point in her life. Since then, Tais has specialized in trauma-informed yoga and movement, as well as exercise for older adults and disabled clients. Her classes prioritize accessibility, welcoming individuals of all ages, body types, and faiths—into a safe, nurturing environment.
For Tais, yoga and movement are tools for healing, empowerment, and unity. She sees movement as a universal language that transcends barriers and fosters connection within communities. Whether teaching in community centers or adapting practices for those with no prior experience, her work embodies compassion, non-judgment, and intuition.
Tais believes that yoga and movement are fundamental birthrights, offering a path to collective healing and transformation through breath, stillness, and mindful practice.
